About Kota The Friend
Kota The Friend is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He has more than 1.8 million monthly Spotify listeners and nearly 1 billion streams globally.
Kota has remained an independent artist throughout his career, turning down three major record label offers to create his own label and apparel brand, FLTBYS (short for Flight Boys). Known for his do-it-yourself mentality, he frequently films his own music videos, records in home studios or on the streets of New York and cities across the country, and produces much of his own music. His commitment to independence is driven by a desire for complete creative freedom.
Most recently, Kota released his fifth Lyrics to Go project, Lyrics to Go Volume 5, on January 25, 2024, featuring two tracks with Grammy-winning producer Hit-Boy, who also produced an entire project for Nas.
A trained musician whose primary instrument is the trumpet, Kota is also known to stop into guitar stores while on tour to casually perform songs on acoustic guitar. His musicianship and independent approach have made him one of hip-hop’s most successful independent artists.

On-street parking is often available on (or near) Ludlow Ave. Additional paid parking is available nearby. Use the Cincy EZ Park App to pay for parking as appropriate. Take the Cincinnati METRO to the venue.
Bag Policy
All guests are subject to a bag inspection. Small clutch bags are allowed if they are no larger than 6 inches x 9 inches and do not need to be transparent. Clear bags are permitted if they are no larger than 12 inches x 12 inches x 6 inches in size.
