About Meek Mill
Robert Rihmeek Williams, known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper, songwriter, and activist. Raised in Philadelphia, he embarked on his music career as a battle rapper and later formed a short-lived rap group, The Bloodhoundz. In 2008, Atlanta-based rapper T.I. signed Meek Mill to his first record deal. In February 2011, after leaving Grand Hustle Records, Mill signed with Miami-based rapper Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group. Mill’s debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, was released in 2012 under MMG and Warner Bros. Records. The album, preceded by the lead single “Amen”, debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200. Following that came Dreams Worth More Than Money (2015), Wins and Loses (2017) and Championships (2019). After an alleged violation of his probation landed Meek in jail, it forced him to pay attention to criminal reform. Now he is a known activist working to make a change.
Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, known professionally as Future, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Wilburn first became involved in music as part of the Dungeon Family collective, where he was nicknamed “the Future”. After amassing a series of mixtapes between 2010 and 2011, Future signed a major record label deal with Epic Records and Rocko’s A1 Recordings, which helped launch Future’s own label imprint, Freebandz. He subsequently released his debut album, Pluto, in April 2012 to positive reviews. He’s released over 6 projects collaborating with some of the biggest names in music.
Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson, better known by his stage name YG, is an American rapper and actor from Compton, California. In 2009, he released his debut single, “Toot It and Boot It” featuring Ty Dolla Sign, which peaked at number 67 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single’s success resulted in him signing to Def Jam Recordings. In the following years, YG released mixtapes such as The Real 4Fingaz, Just Re’d Up, Just Re’d Up 2, 4 Hunnid Degreez, and many others.
About Megan the Stallion
Megan Thee Stallion, born February 15, 1995, is a female rap artist from Houston, Texas. The seductive femcee is a full-time college student, as well as a choreographed dancer and model. Under her mother’s management company, Pretty Time Entertainment Management, the Texas native first began to gain notoriety after meeting super producer TA and releasing her first single “Like a Stallion” in April 2016. After dropping a number of hot verses on a few Texas Cyphers, her verse on ‘The Houston Cypher’ over Drakes 4 p.m. in Calabasas caught on like wildfire and placed her as a top trending topic in Houston on Twitter. From there her online following took off. Soon after, she released her mixtape ‘Rich Ratchet’ on Soundcloud and MyMixtapez, and then her first EP ” Make It Hot” soon followed. In February 2018, Megan linked with a Houston legend, T. Farris, which led to her signing to 1501 Certified, a record label owned by a retired baseball player, Carl Crawford. Her highly anticipated project ‘Tina Snow’ was released June 10, 2018, and debuted at #11 on iTunes Hip.-Hop charts.
Los Angeles native, DJ Mustard, is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after producers in the business. He has produced chart-topping hits for 2 Chainz (“I’m Different”), Young Jeezy (“R.I.P.”) and Tyga (“Rack City”). Complex has also taken note, naming DJ Mustard one of their “25 New Producers To Watch Out For.” While some have dubbed his signature sound as “ratchet,” Mustard describes his beats as “undefinable.” Says Mustard, “I just want people to hear my music and feel good; go to the club, dance, have fun, and get home safe…none of that gang-banging stuff.” The New York Times has praised Mustard’s sound, stating “it’s made for some of the starkest and most vibrant hip-hop of the last year or two…booming and square, like well-sequenced jabs with no need for combinations.” Mustard has not only been inspired by his native L.A., but also looks up to producers such as Dr. Dre, Swizz Beatz, and Timbaland. He is currently working on YG’s upcoming album, as well as singles for Ludacris and B.o.B.
