Revenge is a dish best served bloody in
a very dark comedy by Steve Yockey.
If Hellraiser were a sitcom, it might be like this play. Know Theatre will close their 21st MainStage season with a return to the world of playwright Steve Yockey, with the regional premiere of the Mercury Cincinnati play. In a world where people very rarely seem to get what they deserve, Mercury is a satisfying romp where karma has a wicked sense of humor.
Mercury runs April 19 – May 11 at Know Theatre of Cincinnati, on Jackson Street in historic Over-the-Rhine. Ticket prices are as follows:
$15 regular price tickets
$25 “Living Wage” tickets, supporting working artists in Cincinnati
$10 Rush tickets at the door 10 minutes prior to curtain (when available)
Tickets are available to purchase online or by calling 513-300-5669 (KNOW).
Goldstar currently has discounted tickets between $12.50 – $15. Get them while they last.

The Know team is thrilled to bring back some of our favorite comic talents and welcome two new faces to the Know MainStage for this twisted tale of vengeance.
Three stories cross outside of Portland, OR in a pitch black comedy with an illicit affair, a couple hanging on by a thread, bears at the window, the worst curiosity shop on the west coast, and an adorable missing dog named Mr. Bundles. No one’s happy, people stop being nice, and blood spills. This mash-up of myth, missing empathy, and “good neighbors” explores what happens when the mercury rises. Also, as the play unfolds, simmering grudges reach their boiling point.
About Steve Yockey
Yockey, co-producer and writer on TV’s Supernatural and the brilliant brain behind past Know Theatre favorites including Pluto, The Fisherman’s Wife, and Heavier Than…, now brings us a pitch-black comic romp about what happens when people stop being nice and start getting vengeful.
