My Furry Valentine is Greater Cincinnati’s largest and most beloved animal adoption event, proudly returning for its 15th year. Since its founding in 2012, this signature community event has helped more than 8,500 animals find loving homes and continues to be a cornerstone of animal welfare efforts across the Greater Cincinnati and Tri-State region.

About the Event
Each year, My Furry Valentine brings together hundreds of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens from dozens of participating shelters and rescue organizations. By gathering adoptable animals in one centralized indoor location, the event creates an accessible and welcoming environment where families and individuals can meet a wide variety of pets and find the companion that best fits their lifestyle. Whether visitors are searching for a playful puppy, a laid-back senior cat, or something in between, the event offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with animals in need of homes.
In addition to adoptions, My Furry Valentine is designed to be a positive and memorable experience for both people and pets. Every animal adopted from the main event will go home with a complimentary goody bag, and adopters will have the chance to enter an Adopter Raffle for themed prize baskets. These added touches help celebrate each adoption and support a smooth transition as pets head to their new homes.
Rules
The safety and well-being of both animals and guests is a top priority. To minimize stress for adoptable pets and ensure a safe environment for everyone in attendance, owned pets are not permitted at the event. For those interested in arranging a meet-and-greet between a current pet and a potential adoptee, participating shelters and rescue groups are happy to assist directly outside of the event setting.
