ohio redistricting forum

Attend the Ohio Redistricting Forum at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on June 2

The Ohio Redistricting Forum aims to attract attention and signatures for a proposed amendment to the Ohio Constitution. The amendment would end partisan gerrymandering of Ohio’s voting districts by setting up a nonpartisan board to oversee redistricting in the state. The forum’s format will allow the recognized and powerful voices of Cincinnati’s leaders to inform church membership and community members.

Attendees will learn about

  • the proposed amendment
  • the impact of voter disenfranchisement on Black women
  • the significance of local and regional politics that are affected by gerrymandered districts.

Community members can also register to vote and sign the petition to get the amendment on November’s presidential-year ballot.
