Peebles Corner Festival: Celebrating Community, Culture and Connection
October 3 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Peebles Corner
Free Admission

On October 3, Peebles Corner will once again become a gathering place for neighbors, families, artists, entrepreneurs, and visitors from across Cincinnati as the Peebles Corner Festival returns to Walnut Hills. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., East McMillan Street will come alive with live music, art, food, local businesses, creative activities, and the unmistakable energy of community.
About the Event
The celebration starts before the festival at 10:30 am with a Run & Walk in partnership with Pig Works. Participants can choose between a shorter neighborhood loop and a 5K route before stepping right into the festival. After the festivities wrap up, Queen City Bike will lead a community bike ride touring neighborhood gardens at 3 pm. Together, these activities invite visitors to experience Walnut Hills in a new way while celebrating connection, wellness, and neighborhood pride.
Shopping, Food, and Drinks
Throughout the day, attendees can shop and connect with local artists, makers, small businesses, and community organizations. Vendors include Kitabu Books, bringing books, literature, and Black cultural expression to the festival, as well as Esoteric Brewing, Cincinnati’s Black-owned brewery based right here in Walnut Hills. Festivalgoers can also enjoy food and drinks from neighborhood businesses, along with free activities and experiences designed to make the celebration accessible to everyone.
Music and Dancing
Music will provide the soundtrack for the day with performances from Cincinnati artists Siri Imani and Jess Lamb, Cold Sweat, and DJ Pillo. Dancefix will also bring movement into the celebration as part of the festival’s group dance programming, including a free line dance led by Trinity Carpenter. Guests can expect an energetic mix of live music, dance, creativity, and opportunities to participate rather than simply watch from the sidelines.
For one day, Peebles Corner becomes a shared public space where longtime residents can reconnect, new neighbors can meet one another, families can spend the afternoon together, and visitors from across Cincinnati can discover the businesses, artists, and organizations helping Walnut Hills thrive.
At its heart, Peebles Corner Festival is about community joy. It is an invitation to gather in person, celebrate culture, support local entrepreneurs, hear homegrown music, dance together, and experience the creativity and pride that make Walnut Hills special.
