Attend the Sing Sing Film Screening presented by The Voice of Black Cincinnati at Woodward Theater on November 10.

The Voice of Black Cincinnati presents a night of films at the Woodward Theater! The program will feature a showcase of the Cincinnati-made “Uncle Buddy” web series from SET Meech beginning at 7:15 p.m., followed by a screening of the 2024 Oscar-nominated film, “Sing Sing,” starring Colman Domingo. Enjoy a stirring evening – celebrating resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art.

Divine G (Colman Domingo), imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, finds purpose by acting in a theatre group alongside other incarcerated men, including wary newcomer (Clarence Maclin), in this stirring true story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art, starring an unforgettable ensemble cast of formerly incarcerated actors.
