Q-KIDZ Dance Team Sparkles & Spirit
December 20, 2021 @ 6:30 pm
$20 – $30
Q-KIDZ Dance Team presents its annual fundraiser, Sparkles & Spirit!
Q-KIDZ Dance Team, a non-profit organization located in the West End of Cincinnati, performs “Sparkles & Spirit,” a vibrant celebration of strength, courage, and joy.
The Q-KIDZ Dance Team is dedicated to creating a safe space for young girls to thrive, no matter their economic situation. Marquicia Jones-Woods founded Q-KIDZ forty years ago with a single purpose: to empower youth experiencing poverty and drug-related crime in Cincinnati’s West End neighborhood.
What started as one woman’s effort to engage youth in positive after-school activities has grown into a nationally recognized, award-winning dance program that impacts more than 100 girls a year between the ages of four and eighteen. Q-KIDZ leverages dance as a platform to educate, nurture, and build self-esteem.
The Q-KIDZ Dance Team has received national acclaim for choreography, techniques, costumes, and overall performance. Jones-Woods’ commitment to the national competition is driven by her desire to expose the girls to life far beyond their impoverished West End neighborhood.
“Sparkles & Spirit” serves as one of the non-profit’s key fundraising events. For more information on sponsorship levels, please email email@example.com
