About TEDx Cincinnati
TEDx is a non-profit organization that devotes its time to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TEDx began in 1984 as a conference where technology, entertainment, and design converged. Today, the conferences cover almost all topics – from science to business to global issues – in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world. Today, TED is best thought of as a global community. Furthermore, it is a community welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world.

The program gives the community an opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences in Cincinnati. TEDx Cincinnati also has main stage sessions available on their video platforms TED talks and get X-cited.
