What does a 22-year-old and a 90-year-old have in common? More than you think.
The 90s to 90 is an intergenerational documentary exploring mental health and emotional suppression across two generations of the Black community — those born in the 1930s, and those born in the 1990s. Through personal interviews, professional insight from therapists, spoken word, and a closing dance performance by CA2DanceCrew, the film asks what changes between generations — and what doesn’t.
Two generations. One reflection. It’s time to talk.
This film explores mental health and emotional silence across two generations within the Black community, comparing the experiences of individuals aged 90 and older with those born in the 1990s.
The event will feature the full-length premiere, a meet-and-greet with the cast and creative team, photo opportunities, a gift for each guest, and a raffle drawing. Proceeds from ticket sales will fund free community screenings this Fall.
