The Cincinnati STEMmys Award Show and Scholarship Fund shines light on those who contribute the most to STEM in the community.

The Cincinnati STEMmys Award Show has been created to recognize the contributions of African-American individuals and organizations who are contributing to the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education among African Americans in the Greater Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky Region. They are intended to shine a bright light on the strides that have and can be achieved through collective work, support and community ownership.

Individual tickets are $60 and can be purchased online. A table of 10 will cost $550. The program begins at 5 p.m. All proceeds from the event will go to support students pursuing STEM degrees.

During the show, we will be recognizing three categories of winners.

STEMmys™ Scholars
These awards will be presented to recently graduated students who have received a scholarship from a local organization and who will be matriculating into a STEM program at a four-year college or university in Fall 2019.

STEM Community Champions
This award is for a member of a community organization, who has gone over and beyond in providing mentorship, guidance and leadership in the development of STEM content and support within the community.

STEMmys(TM) Honorees
This is the signature event of the evening. We will be presenting fifteen honorees in an Academy-award style ceremony which will recognize the contributions of African-American individuals and organizations who are contributing to the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education among African Americans in the Greater Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky Region.

They are intended to shine a bright light on the strides that have and can be achieved through collective work, support and community ownership. We will intentionally illuminate the possibilities that can be cultivated through demonstrated support and responsibility.
