See the Vibe Fellows Exhibition on display at Kennedy Heights Arts Center Jan. 14 through Feb. 16
See the photography and illustration exhibition, Vibe Fellows by Shi Low and Ke’Monte’ Figgs at Kennedy Heights Arts Center. The exhibition of both artists’ works will be on view until Thursday, February 16, 2023.
About the Vibe Fellows Exhibition
Shi Low has combined photography with collage and creative writing. Creating a collection of collage portraits titled “The Dream Archive.” The collection was born from the ways the community has been integral to their survival as a queer Black person.
Ke’Monte’ Figgs is displaying his journey as a Black children’s author and illustrator in “The Black Dr. Seuss.” Along with a small selection of original paintings from his first book Dreams, Art, and Success, which launched in the Fall of 2022, there will be that book’s new theme song audio in progress. There will also be a series of sketches of character development and storyboarding and original paintings for his next book.
Gallery Hours
Gallery hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. and by appointment (call 513-631-4278 to make arrangements).
Opening Reception
Join the community on Saturday, January 14 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the KHAC Lindner Annex Gallery. View artworks created over the course of 5 months by the first two KHAC Vibrancy Fellows.
