About Wild ‘N Out
Wild ‘n Out debuted on July 28, 2005 on MTV, and on MTV2 from 2013–2016. In November 2012, MTV2 announced that the series would be returning in 2013 after a six-year hiatus. The series features up and coming comedy stars, along with the show’s original cast. The premiere episode of season five had 1.1 million total viewers, making it the highest-rated telecast in MTV2 history.

On June 9, 2016, MTV announced that Wild ‘n Out had been renewed for an eighth season, marking the series’ return to its original network. The season began on August 4, 2016. The ninth season premiered on June 29, 2017, and marked the series’ return to filming in New York.

Similar in premise to shows such as Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the series puts two teams of comedians against each other in a series of Wild ‘n Out games which are all basically “improvisational” comedy games.
