About Zack Fox
Zachary Channing Fox is an American stand-up comedian, rapper, actor, DJ, and internet personality from Atlanta, Georgia. He has collaborated with Kenny Beats, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Doechii, and Bnyx. He describes his genre of art as “Shemar-Core,” a term that likely references actor Shemar Moore, who serves as an artistic muse for Fox.
Zack Fox launched his music career in 2018 with his debut track “Square Up,” created with producer Kenny Beats, and the pair went viral in 2019 after their comedic freestyle “Jesus Is the One (I Got Depression)” unexpectedly hit number one on Spotify’s U.S. viral chart, leading to an official release. He continued building momentum with “The Bean Kicked In,” which appeared on a Grand Theft Auto V in‑game radio station, and in 2020 he released a collaborative, tongue‑in‑cheek cover of “Slob on My Knob” in response to Gal Gadot’s widely discussed “Imagine” video. Fox capped this early run of unconventional, internet‑driven success by releasing his debut studio album, Shut the Fuck Up Talking to Me, in October 2021.
