How do you take care of your mental health?
What are different ways that you take care of your mental health? Maybe hot yoga or a good Netflix binge. What do you do?
I do both Hot Yoga and Netflix binges!!
I try to set aside time for just me. I binge watch a show on Netflix, sometimes I will drive and listen to my PlayList and relax and reflect and get a grip on where I am in the moment and from doing this I got back in touch with myself. I tend to focus on my different roles as Mother and Daughter and not on myself as an individual.
As a result of focusing on ME, I have established new goals for myself and it feels good. You have to look at you as an individual and not yourself in your role as you are to others even though you are 1 person doing many things. Dont feel guilty about thinking of yourself... Of course if you are like me, after everyone else is taken care of. You are important too. Don't forget that.
