Attend the Family Heath Day of FREE Cincinnati health screenings.  For the fifth year, The First Ladies for Health will host a one-day health fair at 12 locations in Hamilton County.

 

Anyone can visit any location for FREE health tests, screenings, counseling, and follow-up plans. Insured and uninsured persons with pre-existing conditions can visit a participating site and receive confidential testing, diagnosis, and recommendations for healthy living.

The First Ladies For Health leverages the ladies’ leadership of faith-based organizations to inspire and empower people in our community to focus on their health.

 

Among the services offered are screenings for HIV, diabetes, hypertension, breast and prostate cancer, vision, dental, brain health, and lung. Flu shots will also be available. Children’s screenings include flu shots, blood pressure, asthma, Body Mass Index, dental, vision, and speech/language.

Screenings will occur on the SAME DAY on Sunday, October 13, at 12 locations. Not all places will have each specified screening. If possible, please be mindful of going to the location of your desired screening.

 

*Please note that mammograms will be billed to insurance carriers if applicable.

First Ladies Health Fair

 

  • All screening, tests, shots, counseling, and services are free and open to the public
  • Anyone can receive services – insured or uninsured
  • All services and counseling will remain confidential
  • You do not have to be a member of the church or organization hosting the health fair to receive free services
  • Anyone can schedule follow-up appointments with participating providers
  • Many locations will off complimentary food, prizes, gift cards, children’s activities, and giveaways
  • The event will happen rain or shine
