Volunteer Description
Rec@Nite volunteers support the Cincinnati Recreation Commission in creating safe, engaging Saturday night environments for teens (ages 13-17). Volunteers assist with event setup/breakdown, supervise activities, mentor youth, and ensure safety from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. during the summer.
To successfully operate the program, CRC is seeking dedicated volunteers who are willing to assist with:
- Participant supervision
- Activity support and engagement
- Event setup and breakdown
- Check-in/check-out assistance
- General program support and mentorship

Rec@Nite creates a safe, vibrant space where teens connect, create, and grow into confident leaders.
Volunteer Details and Shift Information
Rec@Nite will operate in four (4) locations: Evanston Recreation Center, Hirsch Recreation Center, Lincoln Recreation Center, and Winton Hills Recreation Center. CRC’s Rec@Nite will also host a community concert on August 1 at Laurel Playground from 4 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Volunteer shifts are from 4:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., except for August 1. The volunteer shift for August 1 at Laurel Playground will be 3:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Please reach out for alternative shifts or for volunteer groups. ([email protected])
Volunteer support will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, success, and overall impact of this program. Individuals who are dependable, energetic, and passionate about working with youth are especially encouraged to participate.
