The City’s Youth to Work Program (Y2WK) brings together government institutions, community-based organizations and private sector companies to offer hundreds of employment and internship opportunities to teens. Easterseals helps connect our community’s youth to great summer jobs. Employment in youth is a major determining factor for future career success. Summer Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program
Ages: 14 – 24
Term: May 1 – September 30

The 16 – 24 youth program is a designed help prepare the emerging workforce for skilled employment. CCMEP provides employment and training services to eligible, low-income individuals based on a comprehensive assessment of employment and training needs, as well as a basic skills assessment. Participants are provided services to support goals outlined in their individual opportunity plan, which may include support to obtain a high school diploma, job placement, work experience, and other supportive services such as child care and transportation. Artworks Apprentice and Teachers
Ages: 14 and older
Term: June – August

ArtWorks is hiring passionate, young artists (between the ages of 14 – 21) who are eager to create art, make a difference in the city, work in diverse teams and build new skills. A teaching staff of creative professionals (must be over 22-years-old) to help lead projects, mentor youth apprentices and guide projects to successful completion is also needed. The Cadet Program represents a major initiative to provide students with the chance to learn about police work.
