Individual Giving and Donor Stewardship:
Collaborate with the CEO on updating and monitoring the annual development calendar to ensure year-round engagement and stewardship of individual donors.
Monitor and ensure the appropriate follow-up occurs with donors and supporters.
Process donations and generate and track tax receipts and acknowledgment letters.
Contribute to HCAN e-news communications, drafting content for supporters and donors.
Arrange campaign logistics for individual solicitations.

Corporate and Foundation Relations, Including Program Support:
Fulfill sponsorship recognition and benefits, including communications such as social media and press releases, collateral like signage and t-shirts, website updates, etc.
Complete matching gift forms and protocols.
Assist with program event logistics, including photography, volunteer management, and communications activities.
Assist with interviews and communications related to sponsor and volunteer marketing and acknowledgment efforts.

Fundraising and Cultivation Activities:
Assume a lead role in planning and executing all fundraising events.
Manage event logistical details, serving as the point of contact for vendors (i.e., Catering, venue, printing), supporters and sponsors, volunteers, table captains, and attendees.
Create event communications such as save the dates, invitations, e-blasts, programs, and other marketing materials with professionals as needed Develop marketing materials and plan events to generate funding.
Recruit, schedule, and ensure a positive experience for volunteers.
Coordinate identification and relationship building with key donors and groups.
Record and track event data and constituent information, including budget information, registration lists, and results.

Operations, Infrastructure, and Other Roles:
Provides financial monitoring and analysis of contracts and grants to ensure expenses are paid according to contract/grant.
Ensures project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
Arrange and manage the storage of grant and contract documents.
Manages data entry and development of donor database, email distribution, and website.
Ensures compliance with sponsor terms, agency policy/procedures and federal regulations.
Direct projects and assignments for Development Intern(s) and/or volunteers
Schedule and attend Development Committee meetings.
