We currently have an opening for a Human Resource Manager 3rd shift. Based in the CVG Hub, Erlanger, KY the leader that can excel in this role will ensure that we continually look for new approaches to improve performance, productivity and culture while continually questioning how and why things are done, drawing conclusions, and acting on ways to improve the business & work environment.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

As a Passionate HR professional, you will use your energy and enthusiasm to partner DHL Express CVG Hub HR Leadership team to:

Supporting line managers by driving a performance culture through coaching and facilitating employee roundtables
Fostering a high-level culture of active leadership & employee engagement
Partnering with the business leaders and leveraging the Centers Of Excellence to proactively identify workforce planning strategy
Delivering ongoing communication with internal customers to drive implementation of main HR processes and achieving business partner support
Managing and implementing HR activities across the employee lifecycle consistently with Centers Of Excellence and HR Support/Shared Services as follows:

Exit Interviews
Employee Relations
Providing guidance and counsel to business leaders throughout all phases of the change management life cycle (i.e., structure changes and DHL cultural changes)
Consulting on high-profile and complex employee issues
Managing assigned HR Business Partners. Ensures team members are hired, trained, and performing to their highest levels of performance
Managing expenses to the approved budget; provides variance reports as necessary; seeks additional resources based on a sound business case
Providing counsel and support to the HR team on HR policies, practices, and processes.
Evaluating departments’ reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals.
Providing insight and recommendations to HR Senior Leadership to contribute to the increased processing improvement and efficiency of HR services. (HRBPSS, EOS, Business)
Do you have what it takes?

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Admin, or related field.
Master’s degree in HR or a related field is a plus.
A minimum of five years of professional human resources experience handling a variety of responsibilities in several of the following areas: employment, employee relations, salary administration, benefits, or training.
Experience must include working with an HR information/management system.
A minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
HR Certification is preferred but not required (PHR/SPHR).
Excellent knowledge of employment, employee relations, compensation and salary administration, and the laws that govern these areas.
Excellent consultative, influencing, conflict management/facilitation, written, oral, interpersonal communication, analytical, organizational, and diplomacy skills.
Strong business sense and ability to participate in and contribute to various business decisions at a senior leadership level.
Demonstrated ability to develop proven HR programs that align with business strategies.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Strong team player and the ability to think “out of the box”.
