To be considered a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, nutritionist, exercise science professional, or yoga teacher, an individual or company may receive a certification such as ACE, ACSM, AFPA, IFPA, ISSA, NASM, NESTA, or NSCA. To ensure you have the best fitness experience, consider asking a company or individual what certifications they hold.
