Adults 50 and older can enroll now for the OLLI at the University of Cincinnati Winter Term beginning January 26.

Discover the joy of lifelong learning with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Cincinnati! The Winter Term is just around the corner, and OLLI is excited to offer a diverse range of classes designed to stimulate your mind, enrich your life, and connect you with a vibrant community of learners. Most courses are held in Walnut Hills, with additional courses in satellite locations in College Hill and Amberly Village.

OLLI believes that learning is a lifelong adventure. Their programs are tailored for adults aged 50 and older who are eager to explore new subjects, revisit old passions, and engage in meaningful discussions. Whether you’re interested in history, science, art, literature, or technology, OLLI has something for everyone.

The Winter Term features an exciting lineup of courses taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about their subjects. From “The History of Jazz” to “Introduction to Digital Photography,” their classes are designed to be both educational and enjoyable. Attendees have the opportunity to delve into fascinating topics, develop new skills, and broaden their horizons.

Enrollment and Registration

Enrolling in OLLI is easy and affordable. Flexible membership options allow participants to choose a level of involvement that fits individual needs. Options range from taking a single class to enrolling in several, with plans designed to support a variety of interests. The goal is to make lifelong learning accessible to everyone, with scholarships available upon request.

  • The membership fee is $90, payable each term. Included with your membership are dozens of one-time presentations and programs, both online and in person, at multiple locations.
  • Most multi-week courses have an additional $5 fee. Some fieldtrips have a nonrefundable admission charge.

About OLLI at the University of Cincinnati

One of the highlights of OLLI at the University of Cincinnati is the strong sense of community. Classes are not only about learning, but also about connecting with others who share similar interests. Participants meet like-minded individuals, engage in lively discussions, and form lasting friendships. A welcoming and inclusive environment helps everyone feel at home, and many courses are offered on Zoom, making lifelong learning accessible from home.

In addition to regular classes, a variety of special events and activities are offered throughout the term. Guest lectures, film screenings, and social gatherings provide additional opportunities to learn and connect. These events are designed to complement course offerings and create even more ways to engage with the OLLI community.
