A Mother’s Touch Cakes is a Black-owned licensed bakery specializing in Vegan, Organic, Sugar-Free and Gluten-Free desserts. This bakery uses only natural products and everything is made from scratch. Orders are baked fresh and can be available within 24 hours of purchase.
Although A Mother’s Touch Cakes doesn’t have a physical store, they can be found weekly at Market Wagon, Black Coffee Lounge, Madeira Farmer’s Market, Ajani’s Gourmet Strawberries Sweet Boutique, and Findlay Market. This Black-owned bakery also has an online shop.
A Mother’s Touch Cakes offers gourmet cakes and cupcakes with over 40 delicious flavors to choose from. There’s something for everyone and you are certain to find your favorite! Relax and indulge in a delicious cup of A Mother’s Touch Blend Coffees. 100% Organic, shade grown and fair trade certified, these coffees are the perfect compliment to cakes, cupcakes, and other pastries they offer such as muffins, cinnamon rolls, and coffee cake.
Project Mother’s Touch
Giving while Growing is the mission at A Mother’s Touch Cakes. 10% of every purchase goes towards funding the next “Project Mother’s Touch” Outreach, whose goal is to feed the community, the elderly, and the homeless.
The quarters that don’t have a larger outreach programs such as large dinners or passing out lunch, this Black-owned bakery passes out homemade, from scratch muffins, pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. Every week, healthy snack bags are available for anyone in need at any of the markets where A Mother’s Touch Cakes can be found. Just come up to the tent, no questions asked.
