Big Jays Place is a Black-owned Caribbean catering service specializing in jerk chicken, oxtail stew, Rasta Pasta, and vegetarian options, such as Caribbean stir fry and veggie lasagna. Owner and head chef Jason Howard makes all dishes from scratch and uses traditional Caribbean spices and cooking techniques. About the Owner
Chef Jason Howard moved from Texas to Cincinnati and couldn’t find the authentic Caribbean taste from childhood. The decision was made to create Big Jays Place to share the love of Caribbean cuisine with others and establish a Caribbean soul food fusion catering company. Only the freshest ingredients are used in dishes, with local produce sourced whenever possible. Spices are imported directly from the Caribbean to ensure an authentic taste, and meats are always of the highest quality.
Jason Howard also offers expert consultation services for restaurants, schools, and corporate entities, providing professional guidance and tailored solutions to enhance growth, profitability, and overall success.
