Cora’s Cakery is a Black-owned online and pop-up bakery in Newport, KY. Shaucuana Knight owns Cora’s Cakery, which specializes in gourmet baked goods such as wedding cakes, regular cakes, cupcakes and Creamaccinos.
Although Cora’s Cakery does not have a walk-in location for customers to view desserts, orders can be placed online to be delivered or picked up curbside via email or GrubHub. Cora’s Cakery is a pop-up shop that can be found at many events. The customer may also schedule this treat boutique to elevate special occasions.

Owner Shaucuana Knight is a pastry arts student at Cincinnati State. Furthermore, Knight strives to make a difference by mentoring others and supporting other minority business owners. Knight enjoys baking and loves supporting other bakers and making dreams come true.
Above all, Cora’s Cakery is a bakery that gives back in ways that are not just monetary. With a passion for encouraging other African American bakers, Knight hosts Mentor Mondays on Tik Tok sharing expertise and knowledge with others. Altogether, Cora’s Cakery continues to grow and showcase the multiple ways to give back.
