J&W Bar-B-Que is a Black-owned barbeque joint with one location in Pleasant Ridge near Golf Manner and Norwood and one in Walnut Hills near Evanston and Avondale. They offer anything from breakfast food to barbeque.

J&W Bar-B-Que’s lunch and dinner menu feature diverse types of pork, beef, fish, and chicken such as ribs, pork chops, burgers, wings, and sandwiches. They also offer traditional sides such as greens, yams, cabbage, macaroni & cheese, slaw, potato salad, baked beans, and fries as well as desserts such as pie and cake by the slice.

J&W Bar-B-Que’s breakfast menu features combos and sandwiches under $5. All combos and sandwiches come with egg and your choice of meat – bacon, sausage, mett, pork chops salmon, or steak. Combo breakfasts come with your choice of side: French toast, waffles, pancakes, grits, oatmeal, or rice.

Testimonials:

You can drive right by this little food truck and miss it completely so slow down and stop. They have the best fried fish. It has a nice light cornmeal crust and is fried fresh to order are the fries. The ribs are tasty and meaty. I prefer the hot barbeque sauce; it has a nice kick, but not super-hot. The steak burger is a great buy as well. It is a large patty, grilled and dipped in the sauce if you want it that way. An excellent value and very filling. They are open Wednesday through Saturday. The parking lot is small, but spots close to the street are available.

Awesome and delightful food, I loved the atmosphere the place has, and the staff members were very friendly. I will eat here again.

From the first moment you arrive at this restaurant, the staff gives you a pleasant feeling. The extremely comfortable team and a lovely restaurant to hang out with friends or with your date. Enjoyable cuisine, professional chief cook, comfortable pay, and professional service. Warmly recommended.
