Lush Life Brands Tasting Room & Studios

Lush Life Brands Tasting Room & Studios is a Black woman-owned wine education experience in downtown Cincinnati, offering tastings, private events, and opportunities to discover unique wines. The tasting room offers a welcoming space where guests can explore new producers, learn about different wines, develop their palates, and connect with fellow wine enthusiasts.

Founded by Cincinnati native Natasha Williams, Lush Life Brands has built a reputation for bringing greater representation to Ohio’s wine industry. The tasting room extends that mission by creating an approachable space where wine education feels engaging, social, and welcoming.

Wine Education Experiences

Lush Life Tasting Room offers several educational tasting experiences designed for different wine preferences. Guests can learn about featured wines while developing a better understanding of flavors, styles, and personal preferences.

Available experiences include:

• Sweet Wine Educational Experience
• White Wine Educational Experience
• Red Wine Educational Experience
• Mixed Wine Educational Experience
• Featured wine tastings
• Monthly tasting experiences

Experiences typically range from 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Reservations are encouraged, with a $10 reservation fee per person securing a scheduled experience.

Small and medium Lushy Charcuterie Boards are also available by preorder. Each tasting includes a bite, while the charcuterie options provide an opportunity to make the experience more substantial.

Private Events

Lush Life Tasting Room provides a unique setting for private celebrations, gatherings, and corporate events. Seated wine tastings can accommodate approximately 20 guests, while cocktail-style events can accommodate up to 60 guests.

The tasting room does not have an in-house kitchen but welcomes outside caterers. Event planning support helps create an experience tailored to the occasion.

Lush Club Membership

The Lush Club provides members with additional opportunities to experience wine throughout the year. Membership benefits include early access to events, ticket discounts, monthly tastings, and a quarterly bottle drop.

The membership creates opportunities for wine enthusiasts to discover new bottles, attend special experiences, and connect with the Lush Life community.

Natasha Williams, Founder

Natasha Williams, affectionately known as the Resident Lush, is the founder of Lush Life Brands LLC and a trailblazer in Ohio’s wine industry. Lush Life Brands is the state’s only Black woman-owned licensed wine distributor.

Founded in 2018, Lush Life Brands is a wine distribution and concierge company focused on bringing unique and underrepresented wines to the Ohio market. The company intentionally highlights Black-owned, Brown-owned, and women-owned wine brands.

Williams began a career in Talent Acquisition before transitioning fully into the wine industry. A Cincinnati native who grew up in Forest Park, Williams studied Communication Studies at the University of Cincinnati and holds a Level 1 WSET Certification.

Williams also founded Blk Wine Fest, an annual festival celebrating Black-owned wine brands and producers. The festival was named one of USA Today’s 10 Best New Festivals in 2024.

Community and Culture

Community remains central to the Lush Life Brands mission. The tasting room provides a space for people to gather, discover new wines, build relationships, and enjoy meaningful conversations.

Through wine education, events, distribution, and community partnerships, Lush Life Brands continues working to increase representation within the wine industry.

The Lush Life philosophy is simple: wine should be “Lushy, not stuffy.” Whether stopping in before dinner, meeting friends, planning a celebration, or discovering a new favorite bottle, guests can expect an inviting experience centered around wine, education, and connection.
