The Future of Healthcare

The future of healthcare faces significant challenges, including high costs and low quality. Long wait times, middlemen, and inflated expenses continue to affect the healthcare system. In the United States, Direct Primary Care (DPC) offers an alternative billing and payment arrangement between patients and medical practitioners.

This model involves an affordable membership fee as the sole payment method, providing exceptional access to primary care practitioners. Unlike traditional systems, there are no co-pays, fee-for-service payments, or third-party billing. For those with insurance, a hybrid model is available, allowing for the acceptance of various insurance plans.

The core of DPC is a strong, ongoing relationship built on trust between the patient and primary care practitioner. DPC laws have been passed in 32 states, with pending legislation in 12 others, including Ohio, which has adopted the DPC model.
