About Njia Pathway to Healing
Njia Pathway to Healing is a black-owned counseling provider. This private practice is owned and operated by Nyesha James, a Licensed Professional Counselor with an experiential background that includes a combined 20 years of work in education and social work. Additional training and experiences include mindfulness, individual, couples, group, and family psychotherapy.
Njia Pathway to Healing has a niche for helping young African American girls, teens, and women who struggle with depression and anxiety to increase their self-esteem, manage stressors, and live confidently in their skin.
Services
Njia Pathway to Healing offers a variety of sessions, including 30-minute and 55-minute sessions. Nyesha individualizes all sessions and treatments based on each client’s needs and preferences to address the following:
When working with clients, several treatment modalities can be applied, including but not limited to person-centered and eclectic approaches to meet you where you are and with what you need.
