DePaul Cristo Rey, the Catholic college preparatory and career-focused high school in Cincinnati with 100 percent college acceptance for eight consecutive years, is enrolling students for 9th grade for the 2022-2023 school year.
DePaul Cristo Rey is for students who desire a college preparatory, Catholic education but could otherwise not afford one.
Located in a state-of-the-art 98,000 sq. ft. facility along Central Parkway in Clifton, this college preparatory school is an affordable educational choice for Greater Cincinnati high school students with the potential and desire to attend college.
DePaul Cristo Rey meets students where they are and guides them through becoming high school and college graduates who succeed. Approximately 300 young men and women from many different faith traditions learn in a Catholic setting.

DePaul Cristo Rey Academics
The school offers a distinctive program that integrates college-preparatory academics with professional work experiences that equip students to excel.
All courses are college preparatory classes and have been developed by a team of teachers and principals from Cristo Rey Network schools with assistance from university partners. This model allows us to focus on our stated academic goal: All students will earn a high school diploma and a college degree.
DePaul Cristo Rey Corporate Work-Study Program
The Corporate Work-Study Program allows students to earn part of their education costs while gaining real work experience and connecting with professionals across various companies and industries in Greater Cincinnati.
Work-study jobs are usually in office settings. Students may answer phones, sort mail, enter data into a computer, greet customers, and copy documents. The school provides all transportation to and from students’ workplaces every day.

DePaul Cristo Rey Eligibility Requirements and Application Processes
While many factors are considered in the admissions process, the following are the most important:
- Capable of college preparatory work
- Low to moderate family income
- Age and legal authorization to work in the United States (age 14 by September 15, 2022)
- Good discipline and attendance records.
DePaul Cristo Rey Financial Aid
Tuition varies at DePaul Cristo Rey. Financial eligibility is decided on a case-by-case basis after each family completes a financial aid form and submits the most recent tax return.
With need-based tuition, work-study requirements, financial aid and EdChoice scholarships, DePaul Cristo Rey is an affordable high school option for all families in Greater Cincinnati.
Students living within the boundaries of Cincinnati Public Schools are also eligible for free or reduced-cost Metro transportation to and from the school. Transportation for all students to and from worksites is included in the tuition.
