About Marion Meadows
Marion Meadows began playing tenor saxophone in high school before switching to soprano sax, drawing inspiration from jazz greats including Stanley Turrentine, Sidney Bechet, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Grover Washington Jr., and Joe Henderson. After studying at Berklee College of Music and SUNY Purchase, Meadows built his reputation as a sought-after sideman, performing and recording with artists including Norman Connors, The Temptations, Michael Bolton, Phyllis Hyman, Eartha Kitt, and Will Downing.
Meadows launched his solo career in 1990 after signing with Novus/RCA. His debut album, For Lovers Only, became a major success, followed by acclaimed releases including Keep It Right There, Body Rhythm, Forbidden Fruit, Passion, Secrets, Whisper, and the Soul Trilogy on the Shanachie label. A longtime favorite on the contemporary jazz charts, Meadows continues to captivate audiences with his signature smooth sound.
In addition to his music career, Meadows is a semi-professional cyclist, graphic artist, and designer. In 2016, he received an honorary doctorate from Wilberforce University.

Bag Policy
