The weekly jazz concerts at Jazz at the Memo and Jazz in the Park feature some of the finest musicians in Cincinnati’s thriving jazz scene. Local and regional jazz acts perform different styles of Jazz, such as traditional, swing, Latin, funk, fusion, soul, and more.

2024 Dates and Lineup for Jazz at the Memo

Beginning in November, Jazz in the Park moves indoors across the street to Memorial Hall for Jazz at the Memo every Monday at 7 p.m.

Faux Frenchmen

The Faux Frenchmen are acoustic guitarists, an acoustic bassist, and a violinist who bend the relationship between American and European jazz, utilizing elements of both to create a distinctive stylistic voice.

Lili Shires & Steve Schmidt

Mambo Combo

Spherical Agenda

Spherical Agenda is a jazz-rock fusion band consisting of a bassist, guitarist, keyboardist, and drummer. Its music features rhythmic explorations and soul-infused grooves.

Carlos Vargas Trio

See Carlos, the exceptional jazz guitarist. Enjoy many wise tunes, including some originals written and performed by Carlos.

Tough Friend

Tough Friend attempts to bridge the gap between classical chamber music and avant-garde jazz mixed with a rock band aesthetic.

Venue Details

Parking

Near Washington Park and Memorial Hall, there is a 450-space underground garage, surface lots, and on-street parking. Use the Cincy EZ Park App to pay for parking as appropriate. Arrive using Cincinnati METRO.

Concessions

The Sherwin-Williams Porch will be open for Jazz at the Park and serve Coca-Cola products, wine, beer, hard seltzers, and specialty drinks.

Washington Park Rules

No outside alcohol is permitted in the park. Bags and coolers are subject to search. Those bringing in outside alcohol may be ticketed for open containers.

Weather Policy

Events are rain or shine; however, in the event of severe weather or heavy rain, an event may be canceled. All event cancellations will be posted on Facebook, usually approximately an hour before the start time, as the weather changes quickly.
