Cincinnati STEM Scholarships are all around. You just have to know where to look.

High school and undergraduates should look for Cincinnati STEM Scholarships just around the corner at Northern Kentucky University (NKU). NKU offers students majoring in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) disciplines the opportunity to apply for additional STEM scholarships. The majors that are eligible for these scholarships are Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Data Science, Environmental Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Pre-Engineering or Engineering Technology.

NKU students who meet the minimum criteria of an ACT composite score of 25 or higher or an SAT score of 1210 or higher and ranked in the top 25% of their high school class may apply for the William H. Greaves and CINSAM Scholarship online. The deadline for these scholarships is February 15, 2019.

Here is how to apply for STEM Scholarships:

  1. Complete the online NKU Application.
  2. Fill out the online Scholarship Application Form
  3. Complete the application by February 15, 2019.

Many STEM classes are offered in the new NKU College of Informatics. These programs offer a 21st century perspective on the disciplines that have information at their core including the departments of Communication, Computer Science and Business Informatics.

NKU also provides scholarships to new freshmen and transfer students, as well as current NKU students. The African American Programs & Services (AAP&S) serves as a space where students, faculty and staff can support each other while navigating their educational, social and career journey. This program was established in 1993.
