A Black-owned preschool with a 5-star Step Up to Quality rating in Pendleton and Eastgate
Water Lily Learning Center is a Black-owned childcare provider with locations in Pendleton near Downtown Cincinnati and east of Interstate 275 near the Eastgate Mall. Openings are available for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, pre-kindergarteners and school-aged children to learn in a safe, educational, creative and fun atmosphere.
Under the direction of caring and dedicated professional staff, Water Lily Learning Centers create a solid educational foundation in a full-day all-inclusive learning environment that nurtures and stimulates their senses. Students are challenged to reach their highest potential academically and developmentally.
With 5-Star Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) ratings, Water Lily Learning Centers offer an age-appropriate play-based learning environment supported by the most current child development research. Trained early childhood educators engage young minds by sparking creativity, curiosity and imagination.
Infants
Infant rooms are designed to make babies as young as six weeks and parents feel safe, secure and happy. Highly trained teachers and caregivers provide a healthy early learning environment for movement, exploration, and communication.
Toddlers
Toddler rooms are designed to discover and explore little hands and feet. Toddlers begin to test their surroundings and enjoy the independence 18-month to three-year-olds crave. These young learners will develop cognitive, emotional and social skills for an early head start.
Preschool
Instruction for 3- to 4-year-olds includes individualized, small group and large group interactions enabling preschoolers to develop confidence, creativity and lifelong critical thinking skills through play-based learning. Families with a gross household income of up to 300% of the federal poverty level may be eligible to attend and have some or all their co-payments or preschooler tuition at the Pendleton location paid by Cincinnati Preschool Promise.
Pre-Kindergarten
Students preparing to enter kindergarten will experience exciting classrooms with nurturing teachers, a discovery-play-based curriculum, and social and school readiness development — all designed to build a solid foundation for kindergarten and beyond.
School Age
High-quality after-school care for children in kindergarten to 6th grade offers a fun, engaging and summer camp-like atmosphere.
