GRAMMY-winning soprano Jessica Rivera, who appears as Donna Elvira in Cincinnati Opera’s season-opening production of Don Giovanni, returns to perform “Canciones de Mi Alma Latina: Songs of My Latin Soul,” an exploration of her musical career through the lens of her Peruvian-American heritage.
Rivera will perform music by Osvaldo Golijov, Fernando Obradors, Manuel de Falla, Antonio de Salazar, Federico Moreno Torroba, and operatic favorites by Puccini and Mozart. Joining Rivera is her longtime collaborator, Mark Carver, on piano.

About Jessica Rivera
Jessica Rivera is a GRAMMY® Award-winning soprano. She has become mainly known for her performances of the music of contemporary composers, such as John Adams and Osvaldo Golijov.
The dimension and spirituality with which she infuses her performances on international concert and opera stages have garnered Ms. Rivera’s unique artistic collaborations with many of today’s most celebrated composers. She is currently a Professor of Voice at Miami University.

Parking
A 450-space underground garage, surface lots, and on-street parking are available near Music Hall. Use the Cincy EZ Park App to pay for parking as appropriate. Take the Cincinnati METRO to the venue.
Accessibility
The ADA Accessibility entrance is located on the southeast side of the building on Elm Street. Please ask a Music Hall usher or staff member for additional assistance or directions.
Prohibited Items
Music Hall restricts bag sizes to 12″ x 12″ for your safety. Bags exceeding this designated size, including instrument cases, will not be permitted inside the building. A staff member can make an exception for individuals with medical necessity.
