Non-profit Masterclass w/ Rosemary D. Oglesby-Henry

Cintas Center
$299 – $350
The PETALS Incorporation hosts a “working masterclass” for new and established non-profit leaders on April 27 at the Cintas Center.
This event intentionally focuses on the paperwork and information you cannot find on Google or other search engines, which is the standard practice for most small business owners seeking information. The goal is to provide participants with the tools, resources, and education to grow their organization.
The session focuses on Non-profit As A Business, Fundraising, Scaling, and Development, for those nonprofits to purchase a building.
Tickets
Tickets to the Non-profit Masterclass are available now:
- Early Bird Special: $299
- After March 31: $350
Includes Breakfast, Lunch, and Resource Materials
What to Expect
In 2022, Rosemary’s Babies Co., when going through their acquisition of the now Holloway House, found themselves in a similar situation when searching online to no avail for the required documentation necessary to be approved for loans, city and state funding.
The organization was grateful for their lucrative partners, who were skilled business experts, the board, and their CEO, who became “document experts” after the almost two-year process.
Celebrity Actress Malinda Williams, known for her roles in “The Wood” and “Soul Food,” recently started a non-profit Arise & Shine Foundation in California. She said, “Rosemary holds a wealth of knowledge and information on establishing and managing a non-profit enterprise. I can only imagine it may have taken us years to grasp what her “Non-profit as a Business” course taught us in a brief, efficient timeframe.” On March 7, 2024, the two, now friends, hosted an online segment as a precursor to the in-person event, providing educational tidbits and best practices for viewers.

Ms. Oglesby-Henry, a Forbes Leading Women in Business, says, “My goal in hosting this masterclass is to provide information and resources that are readily available or affordable for smaller nonprofits to navigate the paperwork necessary to scaling and sustainability.” Elaine Bobbey, Retired President of Evenflo Feeding, co-facilitates the learning session.
