Attend Party at the Polls on October 24!

The Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in partnership with the Beta Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., When We All Vote, and the Ohio Unity Coalition will host “Party at the Polls,” a free nonpartisan voter education program designed to help community members better understand the importance of voting and how elections influence issues that shape everyday life.

Cincinnati Organizations Partner for Early Voting Mobilization Event

What makes this event especially timely is its location directly across from the Hamilton County Board of Elections during early voting. As voters prepare for the November election, the event is designed to make it easy for community members to access voter information and resources, cast their ballots, and engage around the importance of making their voices heard.

The program will take place in the parking lot across from the Hamilton County Board of Elections. The event will feature music by DJ Nikki Suede, free food and drinks, games, live entertainment, free giveaways, and interactive activities designed to create an exciting, welcoming community experience. Voter education and additional resources will be made available, and Greater Cincinnati residents will be encouraged to participate in early voting.

Mary E. Mitchell, President of the Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., shared:

“It is crucial for every eligible individual to exercise their right to vote. Voting is one of the most powerful tools we have to determine how our communities will be impacted on important issues such as safety, education, employment, and healthcare. Through this event, we hope to mobilize and equip returning and first-time voters with the information and confidence they need to participate fully in the democratic process. We encourage voters to have a plan: Check your registration status, take advantage of early voting, plan transportation to your polling place, and research what’s on your ballot. This collaborative effort with Beta Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi and When We All Vote, and the Ohio Unity Coalition reflects our organizations shared commitment to civic awareness, community empowerment, and strengthening democratic participation throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.”
