Vocal Arts Ensemble Presents Sun Moon & Stars with a Stellar Lineup of Composers and Songs at Music Hall on April 4.

Using music selections from Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, David Childs, Laura Mvula, and more, Sun, Moon & Stars explores stories of the human experience — life, longing, love, and loss — through the wonders of our universe and the mystery and beauty that it holds.

About Christin Sears

Christin Sears is a talented choral conductor and singer who is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in choral conducting at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).

About the Vocal Arts Ensemble

VAE fills a unique niche in our region as a professional chamber choir. Earning a reputation for artistic excellence, VAE presents rich, passionate performances of a broad variety of choral works with precision and unparalleled virtuosity. VAE has enjoyed artistic leadership by some of the nation’s leaders in choral conducting: Grammy Award-winner/seven-time nominee Craig Hella Johnson currently leads the ensemble.

Music Hall Venue Information 

Parking 

A 450-space underground garage, surface lots, and on-street parking are available near Music Hall. Use the Cincy EZ Park App to pay for parking as appropriate. Take the Cincinnati METRO to the venue.  

Accessibility 

The A.D.A. Accessibility entrance is located on the southeast side of the building on Elm Street. Please ask a Music Hall usher or staff member for additional assistance or directions.

Prohibited Items

Music Hall restricts bag sizes to 12″ x 12″ for your safety. Bags exceeding this designated size, including instrument cases, will not be permitted inside the building beginning September 1, 2023. A staff member can make an exception for individuals with medical necessity. All bags and jackets are subject to inspection at the entrance.
