Job Description

Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition (CMWC) promotes a culture of wellness in diverse populations through evidence-based recreational music-making, education, and arts engagement. We’re currently searching for a Prevention Coordinator. The Prevention Coordinator handles project documentation and works closely with the Program Manager and Scheduler.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Read and analyze incoming memos, letters, and reports to determine their significance and distribute them appropriately.
  • Create monthly invoicing and submit them on a timely basis to the program manager for submission to Hamilton County Job & Family Services (HCJFS).
  • Gather all respective attachments and generate transmittals to be submitted to HCJFS with monthly invoices.
  • Communicate with Prevention Services HealthRHYTHMS trained facilitators on required monthly invoices, submit invoices to the program manager for payment, and monitor costs.
  • Work with vendors as needed, submit invoices to the program manager for payment, and monitor costs.
  • Ensure HealthRHYTHMS Trained Facilitators complete facilitator logs and standardized surveys as required in the University of Cincinnati RedCAP data collection system. Communicate with the UC researcher if/when issues arise.
  • Ensure that prevention services program records comply with the HCJFS records retention policy.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree, high school diploma, or GED with related administrative experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and practical communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and incorporate the perspectives and input of diverse people, backgrounds, and skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hours: Twenty (20) per week.
  • Salary range: $18,000-$20,000 with FICA taxes and Worker’s Compensation paid.
  • Hybrid work schedule.
  • Reports to: Chief Executive Officer.
