Free events for African American Adults to enjoy in Cincinnati every day of the week.

Cincinnati offers a variety of free events and activities that celebrate art, culture, and community. Black adults can take full advantage of experiences that speak directly to their interests and identities at no cost.

From the bold colors of Black-centric murals in historic neighborhoods to thought-provoking museum exhibits that highlight African American history, the Queen City is rich in opportunities to connect, unwind, and be inspired. Whether you’re looking to groove to smooth R&B, test your knowledge at themed trivia nights, or enjoy a local stage play without opening your wallet, there’s something here for every taste and mood.

Mondays

Taft Museum of Art

Offering a unique, multi-sensory experience that immerses audiences in spaces to learn, create, and connect, within and beyond its walls. Visitors can enjoy the collection, special exhibitions, events, and programming for all ages, as well as a beautiful garden, the Museum Shop, the Taft Café, and so much more.

Between 1850 and 1852, Robert S. Duncanson (1821–1872) painted a series of eight monumental landscape murals commissioned by horticulturist and art patron Nicholas Longworth to decorate the entry hall of his home, now the Taft Museum of Art.

An electric-powered streetcar that operates along a 3.6-mile loop connecting Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine and Banks neighborhoods via the Central Business District. See sites from the train or explore popular destinations on the route, including Great American Ball Park, Fountain Square, Contemporary Arts Center, Public Library, Aronoff Center, Hard Rock Casino, Music Hall, and Washington Park.

American Sign Museum

Cincinnati Art Museum

Located in scenic Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum boasts a diverse and encyclopedic art collection comprising over 73,000 works spanning approximately 6,000 years. In addition to displaying its own broad collection, the museum also hosts several national and international traveling exhibitions each year. Complete your day by visiting the award-winning Terrace Café and captivating Museum Shop.
