What makes Xavier Jesuit Academy different?
A unique and proven education model
With smaller class sizes, Xavier Jesuit Academy follows the Jesuit Nativity education model, which is designed to engage and encourage young learners during their formative years, so they grow up to be great men who serve God and others.
Academic Excellence
Xavier Jesuit Academy provides a solid core curriculum focused on reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. The teachers will foster the development of key foundational skills such as study skills, reflection, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and critical analysis.
Enrichment and Extracurricular Activities
Through an extended day model, the Academy will provide intentional programming for students with engaging options that are fun and complement the core academic curriculum.
- Athletic Programs: soccer, basketball, rugby, tennis, baseball, and active gym and health classes
- Enrichment Programs: financial literacy, cooking club, food and nutrition class, STEM activities, art programs, music instruction, and various clubs based on student interests.
Educational Field Trips
XJA students have visited the Cincinnati Art Museum, Taft Theatre, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens for an overnight trip, Xavier University, Mount St. Joseph University, St. Xavier High School, and Matthew 25 Ministries.
Graduate Support Program
Formation on a continuum means Xavier Jesuit Academy remains connected with graduates as they move through college‑preparatory high school, university, and into employment. The school does more than educate young men through eighth grade; support continues well beyond graduation and into adulthood.
