About the Avondale Town Center

Since the beginning of 2017, The Community Builders (TCB) has been working alongside the Avondale Coalition of Churches and the Avondale Development Corporation to bring this project to life. The support from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, the City of Cincinnati, and other organizations has made this vision a reality.

Avondale Town Center is the final phase of the transformation of Avondale Choice Neighborhoods. Thanks to a $29.5 million grant in 2012, the project has revitalized the Reading Road corridor and provided 319 apartment homes at The Pointes at Avondale. Commercial development and various services have also contributed to the neighborhood’s growth.

With Moody Nolan as the architect and HGC Construction leading the way, Avondale Town Center showcases the power of collaboration. TCB is dedicated to promoting economic inclusion and creating job opportunities through this development.
