Enjoy the Children’s Theatre Performance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr at the Taft Theatre from October 12 to 21.
Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. features some of the most popular songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Tickets to Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. vary, depending on the seating area. Homeschool tickets are also available at a discounted price. Infant lap passes are available for children under 19 months who can sit on a guardian’s lap.
Season subscriptions
Mainstage season subscriptions are available, offering one ticket to each of the four Mainstage performances. Subscriptions cost $43 to $143 depending on the seating area, with a discounted subscription provided for children under 13 months.

Parking

Prohibited Items
All guests entering the venue are subject to a bag inspection. Bring only bags and purses smaller than 12 inches by 12 inches. Security will not allow large bags or backpacks into the building without prior authorization. View the Full List of Prohibited Items.
Accessibility
Make a reservation to secure accessible seating. There is no elevator in the Taft Theatre.
