Thee Phantom and the Illharmonic Orchestra

See Thee Phantom and the Illharmonic Orchestra perform at Music Hall on April 7.

When did you last witness strings, horns, and piano at a hip-hop concert? Add to that a party-rocking DJ, a soul-stirring female vocalist, and a fire-breathing MC, and it is still a fraction of what you’ll see when you catch Thee Phantom and the Illharmonic Orchestra in action!

Combining hip-hop’s raw energy and passion with the beautiful sounds of orchestral accompaniment, The Illharmonic is just the third hip-hop group to headline its performance at famed Carnegie Hall.

Tickets to Thee Phantom and the Illharmonic Orchestra

Tickets to Thee Phantom and the Illharmonic Orchestra range from $29.25 to $64.25.

About Thee Phantom

Thee Phantom wrote his first rhyme at eight and made his first beat by mixing the instrumental from the Beastie Boys’ Paul Revere with Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony at age 12. The particular movement of Beethoven’s 5th entitled, “Destiny,” would be both ironic and foretelling for the young musician.

In 2002, Phantom became the first Hip-Hop artist to perform at Philadelphia’s prestigious Kimmel Center with musical accompaniment from members of the world-renowned Philadelphia Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.
