Free Medical Coding and Billing Training Class for Income-eligible Hamilton County Residents from the Community Action Agency.

 

The Hamilton County Community Action Agency Vocational Training program is offering a free medical coding and billing training class to income-eligible Hamilton County Residents. The training will prepare participants for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Billing and Coding Specialists Exam (CBCS).

The 12-week training program begins on August 8, 2023. The program will meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Upon completing the CBCS exam and during the training, on-the-job learning opportunities and career placement assistance will be provided. Participants earning the CBCS exam will be qualified for entry-level Medical Coding and Billing positions at healthcare providers.
